Wow! Camtasia Studio from TechSmith just released a new version of their screencasting software today, Camtasia Studio 4.0, that allows for users to publish videos and mp3 files for ipods and other portable mp3 players. I got the following video in an email announcing the new release.

Wired News: Axing the Podcast Middleman
Is seems that maybe Apple is ruffling a few feathers in their efforts to protect their trademark of the iPod name, and a few companies are trying to cut out the iPod in future developments of podcast listening methods. Steve Freiss of Wired News reports that:
